Testing Locations

Should you find yourself in a position where you need or want to take a COVID-19 test, there are multiple options available throughout Nevada. Some testing locations can be found at airports, pharmacies, clinics and through local health authority COVID-19 stations. It is easy to find a COVID-19 test location near you by visiting the Nevada Health Response website at NVHealthresponse.nv.gov and inserting the information relevant to your needs. Other websites you can visit are Southern Nevada Health District, Washoe County Health District, Carson City Health and Human Services.

    University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) has two on site COVID-19 testing options at Harry Reid International Airport where travelers can get a COVID-19 test. In addition to UMC's clinics at Harry Reid International Airport providing COVID-19 tests, other services offered are primary urgent care, medical screening exams and physicals for employment.       Terminal 1 administers Rapid real-time PCR COVID-19 tests. Terminal 1 is located on Level 2 near the A/B Security checkpoint. Results should be available in 1-2 hours after the test is administered and the current cost is $200. Details can be found at UMCSN.com/Travel/.

        Terminal 3 administers standard real-time PCR COVID-19 tests. Terminal 3 is located at the East end of Level 2 past the airline ticket counters. Results should be available within 26 hours and the current cost is $130 per test. Details can be found at  UMCSN.com/Travel/.

          To schedule an appointment for non travel related COVID-19 testing at UMC, visit one of the UMC Quick Care locations or utilize one of their other COVID-19 testing resources. If you are anywhere in Southern Nevada and need of COVID-19 test, you can find the nearest and/or most convenient location by going to the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) website. It is easy and convenient to schedule a COVID-19 test at a one of the several testing locations.

            There are many COVID-19 testing locations throughout the Reno/Sparks area. You can locate a COVID-19 testing location Washoe County Health District (WCHD). Another option for COVID-19 testing in the Northern Nevada area is through Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS). They are based out of Carson City, Nevada and cover Carson City, Douglas County, Lyon County, and Storey County. CCHHS offers frequent COVID-19 testing events in each county they service. Often, an appointment is not required if you attend one of the testing events. CCHHS also offers appointments for COVID-19 testing by calling their COVID-19 hotline, (775) 434-1988 Monday Through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

              COVID-19 testing is offered in other rural areas of Nevada, such as Fallon, which is in Churchill County. There are multiple testing options and locations available each month in Fallon, some of which require an appointment, and some do not.                 Pahrump, Nevada in Nye County is another rural area offering COVID-19 tests. Appointments can be scheduled by either calling (702) 234-5398 or emailing Pahrump@serinitymentalhealth.org to schedule a COVID-19 test.
