Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Overview

The Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MCAH) section’s primary focus is to protect the health of all children in Nevada by providing them with opportunities to reach their full potential with guidance through education, awareness, advocacy, policy and leadership. MCAH understands that active engagement of our families, caregivers, and communities is needed to positively impact our children’s health. Early awareness and interventions can halt or stop the negative effects of disease, developmental, behavioral and medical disorders.
