Policies: Public, Private and Charter Schools


The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health has encountered the preparation and service of potentially hazardous foods such as meat and dairy at school concession stands throughout the State. Please be advised that the DPBH Environmental Health staff will be completing surveys and inspections of school concession stand in all rural counties.

    Food Establishment Permits are required for operations which serve these kinds of food items as per the Nevada Revised Statue Chapter 446. 020. See the Food Establishment page for more information.
