Medical Marijuana Patient Cardholder Registry - Complaints


Many of the questions or concerns the Patient Registry Cardholder Program gets are status checks on packet requests or applications.   

The Cardholder Program is experiencing unusually high volumes.  Currently, it takes about one week (5 business days) for the Program to send out an application packet from the time the request arrives at the Division, and the application process requires about 2 months. 

The best indication that your packet request or completed application has been accepted and is being processed is your cancelled check or money order. 

Due to privacy laws, we CANNOT answer questions about applications over the telephone. 

If you wish to check the status of your application, you may do so via fax or mail. 

Fax:  Indicate "requesting status check" and include a copy of your photo ID and a telephone number where we can reach you.  The fax number is (775) 684-3213.
