Medical Marijuana Establishments Inspections

According to NAC 453A.322, the Division of Public and Behavioral Health will enter and inspect at least annually, with or without notice, each building or the premises of medical marijuana establishments to ensure compliance with standards for health and sanitation. 

 

The Division of Public and Behavioral Health may, upon receipt of a complaint against a medical marijuana establishment, conduct an unannounced investigation during regular business hours for reasons including:

* premises or facility

* qualifications of personnel

* methods of operation

* policies, procedures, records

 

The Division does not have jurisdiction over complaints concerning:

* cost of services

* the efficacy of the medical marijuana

* customer service issues
