Do you accept paper checks over $10,000?
HCQC is required by Nevada State Law (NRS 353.1467) to only accept payments for amounts greater than $10,000 electronically as of July 1, 2008. Paper checks may be accepted if the e-payment system is temporarily inaccessible.
Do you accept credit card or debit card payments?
At this time, we do not accept credit card or debit cards. The only form of electronic payment accepted is e-check or wire transfer.
Please contact HCQC technical support prior to completing a e-check or wire transfer for specific directions at (775)684-1066.
How is the Electronic Payment (e-payment) processed from my bank?
The customer submits payment information to HCQC. The transaction is authorized and a confirmation number is returned via e-mail to the customer. The State of Nevada has contracted with First Data Government Solutions' Paypoint engine to process the transfer of funds.
After I submit a payment with HCQC, how will I be advised of the progress?
HCQC will email a confirmation once payment is made.
How long does it generally take to process the payment?
HCQC is informed the following business day that the payment has cleared the banking system.
Does HCQC release my personal information?
HCQC respects your privacy. We will not, under any circumstances, release your information to anyone without your consent. HCQC does not store any bank account or routing numbers.
Is the epayments.HCQC.nv.gov website secure?
Security is a top priority at HCQC. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. We recommend you to use a security-enabled browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer version 2.1 or greater, or Netscape Navigator version 2.0 or greater), the information you send us regarding your payment is encrypted, making it extremely difficult to read even if it is wrongly intercepted. You can tell that you are in a secure environment when the browser address bar turns green. When this happens, the information is encrypted and cannot be accessed by anyone else. If your browser does not support secure transactions, any information that you send may be viewed by others. When our registration form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as your bank account number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software currently available in the industry - EVSSL. HCQC uses the most advanced form of EVSSL software available: 128-bit encryption by Comodo. To learn more about EVSSL, follow this link
