April 06, 2016The Office of Public Health Informatics and Epidemiology (OPHIE) is offering a free, interactive online training concerning safe injection practices, with 0.5 CEUs upon completion.
The training deals with unsafe injection practices and disease transmission, the use of single-use fingerstick devices, glucose monitoring, common safety breaches, as well as providing CDC guidelines and recommendations relating to the use of needles and intravenous delivery systems.
