Testing Locations
Should you find yourself in a position where you need or want to take a COVID-19 test, there are multiple options available throughout Nevada. Some testing locations can be found at airports, pharmacies, clinics and through local health authority COVID-19 stations. It is easy to find a COVID-19 test location near you by visiting the Nevada Health Response website at NVHealthresponse.nv.gov and inserting the information relevant to your needs. Other websites you can visit are Southern Nevada Health District, Washoe County Health District, Carson City Health and Human Services.
There are many COVID-19 testing locations throughout the Reno/Sparks area. You can locate a COVID-19 testing location Washoe County Health District (WCHD). Another option for COVID-19 testing in the Northern Nevada area is through Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS). They are based out of Carson City, Nevada and cover Carson City, Douglas County, Lyon County, and Storey County. CCHHS offers frequent COVID-19 testing events in each county they service. Often, an appointment is not required if you attend one of the testing events. CCHHS also offers appointments for COVID-19 testing by calling their COVID-19 hotline, (775) 434-1988 Monday Through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
COVID-19 testing is offered in other rural areas of Nevada, such as Fallon, which is in Churchill County. There are multiple testing options and locations available each month in Fallon, some of which require an appointment, and some do not. Pahrump, Nevada in Nye County is another rural area offering COVID-19 tests. Appointments can be scheduled by either calling (702) 234-5398 or emailing Pahrump@serinitymentalhealth.org to schedule a COVID-19 test.
